    Great place to visit. You can spend days in Algonquin park trails

    If you're coming into the park from the east, this may be your jump off point. You can get park permits, maps and that sort of thing. There is also a small concession with souvenirs, t shirts, etc.

    Algonquin Park has everything you need to live. Food, silence, woods, wilderness. Perfect setting for a weekend getaway or to find yourself

    It has been my experience that the staff is friendlier here than at the other gate, and I suspect it has a lot to do with the volume of traffic difference.
